NBN Excursion by Tamar Yr 5

On the 26th of October the 3-6 class, also known as the TCN news crew, went to the NBN television studio.

When we arrived, we met our tour guide, Mr Greg Sellers. After that, we saw some amazing places such as; the journalist room, a prop room, a commercial room, the newsroom, and last but not least, the studio where they film the news!! Adding to that, we met a news reader, Mr Paul Lobb, who let me, and my fellow TCN news anchor Ben, sit at the news desk and watch them film the news live!!

I really liked the newsroom because instead of a green screen like our TCN news room, they had an actual studio. I would recommend this excursion to schools because they can learn a lot and maybe find their future job.
