TCN AWARDS NIGHT
The annual TCN Awards Night was a huge success with the TCN news crew looking fabulous in their formal attire. The news team walked in on the red carpet, and the evening got under way with students recapping their highlights from the TCN year.
The Year 3-6 classroom was transformed into a venue worthy of the Logies. It was hard to believe that the room was also a classroom.
The Avondale College Visit Edition of the news was shown for the first time, and the Personal Comment Edition that was compiled for the AIS visit was also viewed.
Awards were presented by Mr Dean Bennetts, and students were suitably impressed with his willingness to attend our Awards Night. Grace and Mr Bennetts enjoyed some more footy banter.
The Best News Story of 2016 was revealed as voted by the Toronto Campus students and staff. Tamar received this award for 2016.
Tamar was farewelled as she is moving on to High School, as was Dr Faull who will be retiring at the end of the year.
The long anticipated 2016 bloopers were shown and the news team, along with family and friends had a good laugh. A scrumptious supper was provided by our parents.
What a night! Special thanks goes to the 2016 News Team for their humorous bloopers. We look forward to more bloopers in 2017!
